The Eastern Shore Fly Fishers Club was founded in 2009 by a group of sportsmen dedicated to the stewardship of the sport of fly fishing in the lower Alabama area. The club is comprised of fly fishers of all experience levels, and strongly encourages newcomers to the sport and area. 

The club meets regularly on the 3rd Thursday of every month, and conducts social fly tying on the 4th Thursday of every month. Regular meetings are held at Bass Pro Shops in Spanish Fort, AL; and fly tying is held at the Fairhope Fly Shop/Church Mouse in Downtown Fairhope. The club makes additional efforts to provide educational opportunities in fly fishing, casting, and tying throughout the year.
